A SILENT MANIFEST

‘A SILENT MANIFEST’ is a musical diary from the fall of 2022. I had noticed myself losing contact with the depth of everyday experience and decided to enter the studio in honor of regaining what I had lost. I ritualized a process where no unnecessary disturbances were allowed. Presence was the guiding star. If the music didn’t come from presence or didn’t facilitate presence, I would delete it. I wanted the music to be the stillness inside and outside of me.

A SILENT MANIFEST is a naive yearning for stillness. It’s a dream, I believe. A sanctuary from the ruthless face of change or perhaps a ruthless sanctuary from the luring smile of divinity. My foolish wish for a sanctuary from sanctuaries. It’s nevertheless A SILENT MANIFEST.
